Plumbing supply company selling Hawaii operations.

Seattle-based Pacific Plumbing Supply Co. LLC announced Wednesday it is selling its Hawaii operation to another plumbing supply wholesaler.

Pace Supply Corp., which already has significant business operations in Hawaii, will take over Hawaii Pacific Plumbing Supply’s three locations in the Aloha State and offer job opportunities to the 25 workers there. Parent Pacific Plumbing Supply employs 179 people in Washington state, Alaska and Hawaii, and has operated in Hawaii since 1977.

Rohnert Park, California-based Pace Supply will also build a 40,000-square-foot distribution center in Waipahu.

“This acquisition is a major opportunity to build on our existing Hawaii business and continue the strong relationships that Hawaii Pacific Plumbing Supply and their employees have built,” Pace Supply CEO Ted Green said in a statement.

Terms were not disclosed. The two companies had been in talks since earlier this year about a sale, which is expected to close sometime this summer.
